Informational Overload
Unless you live under a rock, or willfully choose to ignore what is going on, you should be aware of the current state of the world. Not a day goes by that each of us are not bombarded with information…a virtual overload of data that often threatens our ability or desire to accept and process it.
Often, we choose to maintain our peace of mind at the expense of our personal enlightenment. This decision may not be entirely our own doing. Often, the flood of news, of violence, or some other “crisis” comes rushing upon us and we can’t process it before another revelation diverts our attention. How can we decide what is fact and fiction if we don’t have time to think and research between events?
